At Guernsey Dairy, we know that we have to farm like our planet depends on it – and that belief has directed us to produce our delicious A2 Heritage milk with soil health, animal welfare and social fairness at the core of our farming standards.
REGENERATIVE
When it comes to doing what is best for the earth – we found that it intersects with exactly what we are passionate about. A small family farms focused on cows grazing on grass that is never chemically treated or modified with GMOs.
SOIL HEALTH
Healthy soils give our planet a chance to leave our home better than we found it and the beautiful reality is that our cows are a fundamental component of the ecosystem that is helping to regenerate plain-old dirt to healthy, vibrant soil teeming with life.
ANIMAL WELFARE
Each one of our beloved cows deserve a life free from distress and discomfort. How that looks on our farms is cows grazing on live pastures in rich soils as long as the weather permits. During the summer months, they have shelter in our free stall barns.
HERITAGE BREEDS
Being of intermediate size, the cows are efficient converters of feed to milk. They produce their high butterfat milk while consuming 20 to 30 percent less feed per pound of milk produced than larger dairy breeds.
Sustainable Packaging
Our farm proudly pioneers sustainability by exclusively using reusable glass bottles for our products, and all our packaging is fully recyclable.
